eoracle (By Lightblocks Labs) is pioneering the integration of real-world data with blockchain technology. eoracle bridge the gap between technology and economics within the blockchain ecosystem, through the creation of the ethereum oracle enhancing decentralized applications' scalability, security, and functionality.

Role Overview

As the R&D Program Manager at Lightblocks Labs, you will play a pivotal role in driving the execution of our development and cross the board projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of the projects, from conception to delivery, ensuring timely execution, resource optimization, and alignment with business objectives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to drive innovation, achieve technical milestones, and advance our mission of establishing a global, permissionless, and secure data and computation marketplace.

Responsibilities

- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects in accordance with established goals, timelines, and budgetary constraints.

- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and customer needs.

- Set sprint goals and define task priorities according to project needs.

- Lead Scrum methodology and meetings such as daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning and retrospectives.

- Feature ownership, providing solutions per feature from requirements phase, through design and implementation till delivery.

- Worked on a complex multi-threaded and low latency platform with emphasis on implementation, unitesting, integration testing (using Mockito/ EasyMock).

- Working closely with geographic distributed teams.

- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including researchers, engineers, designers, and external partners, to ensure seamless collaboration and communication throughout the project lifecycle.

- Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, processes, and documentation to facilitate transparency, accountability, and decision-making.

- Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and proactively identify and address issues or bottlenecks to keep projects on track.

- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the R&D team, promoting knowledge sharing, best practices, and lessons learned.

Requirements

- Proven track record of success in managing complex R&D projects, preferably in the blockchain or fintech industry.

- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Kanban, with experience in adapting processes to suit the needs of R&D projects.

- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources effectively, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as JIRA, Notion to plan, track, and report on project progress.

- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, capable of identifying and resolving complex technical and logistical challenges.

- Proactive attitude with a passion for innovation, continuous learning, and driving results in a dynamic and evolving industry landscape.
