Description

ISI is seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and motivated Senior Satellite Systems Engineer to participate in a cutting-edge satellite program. If you are passionate about space technology, innovation, and solving complex engineering challenges, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of a satellite system, encompassing electro-optical payloads, communication systems, and computerized systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and customers, to define system requirements, specifications, and architectures for satellite projects.
- Conduct detailed system analysis and simulations to optimize system performance, reliability, and efficiency.
- Manage and oversee the integration, testing, and validation of satellite systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and mission requirements.
- Lead technical reviews, risk assessments, and troubleshooting activities to identify and resolve system-level issues

Advantages:

- Master's in Systems Engineering.
- Experience with orbital mechanics, satellite constellations, or distributed space systems.
- Experience with system simulation tools and software (e.g., STK, GMAT, Matlab, Simulink).
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards related to satellite operations and space systems.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's or master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience with spaceborne or airborne systems engineering, including design, development, and testing.
- Experience leading verification activities (planning and execution).
- Planning and organizational skills, including contributing to schedules, estimating costs, and forecasting personnel needs.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a proven track record of leading technical projects.
