Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Payroll Manager and Bookkeeper to join our Finance team, with end-to-end understanding of payroll processes and experience in in-house payroll.

You will play a pivotal role in processing and managing Israeli payroll for over 400 employees, implementing in-house payroll software and processes while ensuring accurate procedures within our organization. You will be responsible for all payroll and its related financial aspects, be independent and proactive and act as a focal point for all payroll-related matters.

What you'll do:

- Full ownership over the monthly payroll process, including ongoing maintenance, processing, and regulatory filings.
- Ensuring payroll data integrity across our integrated HR and payroll systems, and identification and fixing of any errors.
- Implementing in-house payroll software and processes.
- Creating and keeping up to date payroll process documentation.
- Drawing current and future needs of payroll in Israel and ensuring that the new design fulfills all local statutory and legal requirements by being active in our payroll implementation project.
- Working closely with HR, Legal and Finance, providing professional support on salary and employment rules.
- Oversee, maintain, and track all Israeli payroll-related bookkeeping aspects.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures, controls and analysis related to payroll.

REQUIREMENTS

What you’ll need:

- Strong understanding of core payroll management and processes as well as a Payroll certification.
- Strong knowledge of Israeli payroll taxation, labor law, pension and social rights.
- At least 10 years of proven experience in payroll management and bookkeeping of over 500 employees. Experience in high-tech companies is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of payroll management systems - a Must
- Strong verbal and written communication skills - a Must
- Experience implementing in-house payroll systems is a strong advantage
- Microsoft Excel proficient
- Well-organized, with high attention to detail, good analytical skills, and problem-solving skills
- Great team player with the ability to work independently
- Experience working on NetSuite (advantage)
