The Guesty For Pro, API Support engineer's responsibilities include resolving customer queries, recommending solutions, and working with Guesty’s API to complete client requests.
Responsibilities:
- Help solve technical questions related to Guesty’s APIs, webhooks, 3rd party integrations, as well as new feature complexities.
- Perform large and small API tasks requested by external/internal users.
- Lead personal/team projects such as scripting internal tools, processes, and internal knowledge base articles
- Participate in client/prospect calls to provide professional guidance on utilizing Guesty’s API and its best practices
- Escalate, consult, and push for the client’s standpoint across Product/R&D teams
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years prior experience in tech support in a product tech company
- Native English/Near-native speaker
- Experience with Postman, Chrome DevTools or any equivalent
- Experience in verbally communicating with clients, explaining tech issues to developers/non-technical people
- Experience working with ticketing systems
- REST API knowledge and experience
- Experience with utilizing (read) Mongo/SQL databases or any equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
