Description

SOOMLA, a fast growing startup in Tel Aviv (now part of IronSource), is looking for a rockstar Tier 2-3 support engineer to join the R&D team. We’re looking for a passionate problem-solver who will become a technical support expert for the product. SOOMLA was just acquired by IronSource and is growing fast so this is a great opportunity to join early and grow with us.

Role:

- Escalation point for support teams
- Solve complex technical problems by using deduction and logic
- Build setups and simulations to re-create customer problems
- Debug customer apps when the source of the problem is unclear
- Work closely with R&D teams and learn diverse fields of software development
- Ensure all issues are properly logged
- Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
- Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals 

Requirements

- BSc degree in Computer Science or engineering degree
- 2-3 years experience with mobile SDKs in either QA, R&D or support
- Proven ability to read code and use debugger mode in sw development tools
- Experience with one or more of the following platforms: Unity3D, Android studio, Xcode
- At least 1 year experience with SQL
- Strong problem-solving skills and passion for driving to resolution
- Good understanding of analytics/data platforms and mobile apps ecosystem
- Ability to work under pressure
- A team player
