Description

The Technical Training manager will be part of SolarEdge HQ product marketing team, and will be responsible for leading the training team, including developing training strategy and work plans, as well as preparing, editing, and maintaining training documents, presentations, lesson plans, and tutorial videos for SolarEdge customers.

In addition, the technical training manager will manage appropriate usage of curriculum and methodology of training (tracking/scheduling/locations). The technical training manager will collaborate with Sales, Service, Products, and Marketing teams regarding plans and activity, including launch of new products.

What will you be doing:
- Management of curriculum, content development, and methodology of training
- Develop and design content for training SolarEdge customers who are both new to SolarEdge technology, or users of company's products seeking more advanced skills, knowledge and best practices. For example:
- Designing SolarEdge system
- Installation & configuration of SolarEdge products
- Debugging SolarEdge installations
- Design, implement and manage learning management system (LMS) to support introduction of new products into the market, to train thousands of installer technicians effectively and efficiently, and improve installers competency and proficiency with SolarEdge product suite
- Create overall knowledge and learning management strategy for SolarEdge customer base
- Collaborate with sales, service, products, and marketing teams regarding plans and increasing SolarEdge customer retention
- Lead and Track worldwide training (official/ on-the job / online) and analyze impact and other factors
- Generation of appropriate training certificates
- Periodically conduct training sessions to train installers regarding SolarEdge products.

Requirements

- B.A in Instructional Technologies or B.Sc in Electrical Engineering or related fields
- 4 years' minimum as a trainer including content preparation and content management
- 1 year's minimum as a team leader
- Experience in high-tech – must, renewable energy / power electronics industries are preferable but not essential
- Experience in a technical sales and/or support environment- advantage.
- Fluent English (Native speaker preferable)
