Zoomin is growing our sales organization to keep up with demand from the market, and is looking for Technical Architects comfortable with complex sales to the enterprise to join our US team.  

We’re a fast growing company with a unique solution to an everyday problem facing millions of software users daily, with the best customers in the world (Dell, McAfee, Sony, Mastercard) and some of the best investors in the world.  

Although companies invest heavily in creating technical product content, user experiences are often outdated, with information scattered across multiple content silos. This means people struggle to find the answers they need, resulting in poor customer experiences and higher support costs.

Job Overview

The Zoomin Technical Architect is a key resource within the Sales organization that supports the growth of business for both net new and existing relationships. 

This person will need technical acumen and be able to support and, at times, lead action items that progress opportunities forward.  This is very much a “roll-up-your-sleeves” type of role.  You will:

- Be or become a subject matter expert and trusted advisor who
- Learns the customer’s business thoroughly
- Create and give tailored product demonstrations 
- Build and demonstrate working POCs
- Answer and gather answers for RFPs and infosec questionnaires, technical deep dive calls, building POCs 
- Lead technical deep-dive calls and demonstrations
- Assist with training the sales organization and spreading technical knowledge across the organization, including in our RFPio environment

Year One Performance Objectives

In this role, you will partner with Solutions Consultants and Account Executives to exceed expectations in a number of key metrics:

- Complete 12 POCs within 3 months
- Achieve a 50% win rate for POCs managed by you within 9 months
- Shortlist % from RFPs you manage of at least 70%
- Win 30% or more of the deals you participate in
- In the first year, maintain an average sales cycle less than 6 months through efficient technical review processes

Your day to day as an TA at Zoomin:

- Coordinating internal prep calls with your sales pod
- Preparing and delivering presentations and tailored demonstrations
- Using RFPio and colleagues to answer RFPs and technical questionnaires
- Project managing POCs
- Liaising with product managers on new feature requests and requirements
- Building SOWs for new customers


Prior experience preferred but not fully required for this role:

3+ years B2B sale engineer / architect experience selling average ACV or ARR deals of $50k+

Experience sell

- Experience with technical writing tools
- Familiarity with technology ecosystems including CMS, CCMS, Knowledge Bases
- Familiarity with relational databases
- Familiarity with open source search technologies
- Well versed on APIs and headless architecture
- Working knowledge of front end technologies including javaScript, React
- Experience with IDPs for SSO (e.g. Okta, Ping)
- Fast growth startup experience
