Mission description :

Talentsoft is looking for a Proposal Writer to lead Talentsoft’s responses to RFPs/RFIs for new business and build out a successful proposal function at Talentsoft.

We are looking for people with initiative on how to grow this important function at Talentsoft to make sure it scales with our growing marketing, sales, and product teams. You will support a large team of Regional Directors and ensure we are successfully selected as finalists.

You should love project management, collaborating with key subject matter experts, strategic selling, and writing powerfully in as few words as possible.

Intellectual curiosity will be key in order to master the complex subject matter that goes into Talentsoft proposals: good understanding of human resources processes, strong knowledge of Talentsoft capacities, technical savvy, persuasive communication and powerful writing skills, etc.

You will constantly be juggling multiple, competing deadlines, adapting yourself to different team members' styles, and ensuring no detail is missed with a constant eye towards how to better communicate the importance of talent management and what makes Talentsoft unique.

You’ll be in charge of :
• Answering to RFP’s, RFI’s and standardizing and industrializing our Responding to proposals
• Oversee all aspects of proposal preparation, ensuring quality, compelling bids are submitted in a timely manner.
• Review all customer requirements to ensure that they are met in the proposal and collaborate with a wide variety of involved parties to include all necessary information within the proposals.
• Provide a final quality control check, including proofreading for grammar, request for proposal (RFP) compliance and conformance to established strategies and plans.
• Verify that all the answers are easily understandable, readable and compelling for the prospects.
• Manage multiple proposal tasks with sometimes rapid turnaround deadlines.
• Define, document, implement, and support continual proposal process improvement.
• Prepare and personalize our application for Demos/POC, whenever necessary, to meet customers specifics expectations / Coordinate internal technical resources for customer prototypes
• Organize and update sales materials and marketing collateral


To succeed in this position, you will need to be a motivated self-starter who takes his/her own initiative in making things happen and can think outside the box.

Communication skills are key as you will be spending time sharing information and feedback with your colleagues in the sales, product, and marketing teams.

Since you will be dealing with a wide variety of prospective customers, you will also need to be creative and flexible enough to adapt your approach based on the size, scope, and nature of the organizations you answer to.

Required competencies:
• Native English speaker
• Solid understanding of the Saas technology
• Technologically savvy
• Strong customer focus and good selling approach
• Excellent writer
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Self-starter

• Previous experience in Presales and RFI/RFP processes
• Experience with HR processes
• Experience with software related to HCM and/or talent management
• Excellent solution selling and value based selling approach
• Additional languages / Good level of French is a big advantage
