The Opportunity

We’re growing at a fast pace and looking for a Sales Engineer to join our global sales team. As a Sales Engineer, you’ll play a key role in growing Cynerio’s revenue and market share as we expand into regions outside of North America.  You will provide the technical leadership to Cynerio’s global prospective customers, business partners, and internal staff throughout the sales process. As an SE you will have to balance between technical savviness and customer relationship building. Reporting to the VP of Business Development and working closely with the CTO and other SEs, you’ll be the conduit between our Product, Development, and Sales teams.

Responsibilities

- Partner with the regional sales director and supporting team to develop and execute a sales plan that will achieve quota
- Work closely with prospective customer’s technical resources early in the sales process to gain a deep understanding of their technical requirements to best position the sale
- Provide product expertise regarding architecture design, strategy, planning, and deployment
- Successfully manage all technical aspects of Proof of Value (PoV) deployments
- Support the Business Development team by providing technical support to OEMs, resellers, and channel partners
- Create strong relationships with prospective customers to build trust and become a technical advocate for the customer’s wants and needs, leading to both sales and customer referrals
- Build an end-to-end product knowledgebase, regularly perform demos, and provide regular customer feedback to Product and Development teams

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience as a Sales/Systems Engineer
-  Consistent track record for meeting and exceeding sales quotas with emphasis on net new logos added
- Demonstrated technical understanding of network-related architecture, technologies, routing principles, network micro/macro segmentation, protocols, and services; understanding of medical and IoT devices and their protocols
- Hands-on knowledge of cybersecurity-related products and technologies including firewall, network security, NAC, incident response, IDS/IPS, ticketing systems, and SIEM/log management; understanding of HIPAA, NIST, ISO, and other security frameworks
- BA/BS in a technical field; CISSP, HCISPP, Security+, other security-focused certifications
- Previous success in an early-stage company as an SE
- Experience working with hospitals within their biomed or IT security teams
