Description
General position description
The system qualification group is part of the Global Customer Support.
System qualification engineer day-to-day work contains new modules examinations and system improvements, their integration complexity assessment to existing / new system and their potential affect to overall system performance.
The scope includes working in close collaboration with various R&D, Operations and Product marketing disciplines and conducting complicated experiments on dedicated tools up to the successful module release.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Ø Work closely with cross functional teams including R&D system engineers, engineering, integration and customer success as part of the product life cycle.
Ø Define set of experiments to validate the design, while considering efficient risk reduction.
Ø Lead comprehensive testing (α stage) as part of the PLC and perform detailed analysis on collected data.
Ø Develop validation tools and capabilities for modules and system performance evaluation.
Ø Responsibility for new methods implementation- join the various calibration methods from the early phase until all tools and documents are ready for use. Own certification, documents, and gaps reflection.
Ø Formulates test guidelines, Acceptance Tests procedures, protocols, and tests reports.
Ø Travel to customer sites for new designs implementation and for complex system issues troubleshooting.
Skills and requirements
Ø At least 2 years of experience in a similar role in a multidisciplinary company.
Ø Very good inter-personal communication level and service orientation.
Ø B.Sc. in Electrical/ Mechanical engineering, Practical engineer, or equivalent degree.
Ø Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines.
Ø Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and drafting).
Ø Self-motivated, creative and innovative.
Ø Team player with Excellent communication skills.
Ø Independently with can-do attitude.
