We’re looking for someone with insane energy. Someone who communicates with absolute ease. Someone who can dive into a sea of details and emerge with the big picture. And someone who has absolutely no fear of numbers.

We work with the top developers in the world, from Facebook to Google to Disney to King and everywhere in between. The Strategic Account Manager is the face and voice of StoreMaven for these companies, and if we’re going to put our best face forward you need to be exceptional. We expect you to be able to analyze on the fly, navigate unknown scenarios, and make our services indispensable to clients.

Next: What you’ll be doing

Your role is to continuously deliver value, evolve with the client’s advancing needs, and become an integral part of the client’s own team. To accomplish this you will need to understand the client’s business goals and challenges, help them design an App Store strategic plan, guide them through new business challenges, help them use our tools accordingly, and communicate on an ongoing basis. After each test is complete, we run a full data analysis and industry benchmarking report.

You are expected to build your clients’ quarterly and yearly strategies and figure out how to drive up-sells based on real concrete value—never false promises.

Day-to-day you will:
- Talk to clients by both phone and email
- Lead both internal projects for StoreMaven and external projects for clients, which includes managing relationships and tasks for different agencies and departments on behalf of your clients
- Analyze multiple tests, both in real time and after test completion
- Research new industries and geographic regions to create market insights reports
- Assist the Product and Dev teams in advancing and optimizing our tools
- Establish industry trends and benchmarks
- Explain statistical models to clients
- Look for ways to optimize the efficiency and effectivity of the Client Services team
- Use creative problem solving and generate new ideas for growth

What’s in it for you?

StoreMaven is a start-up, both in size and in mentality. You need to be incredibly independent and self-motivated. You should be able to make your own task list, to take initiative, and to isolate your weaker areas and work to overcome them.

We don’t do well with massive egos or hierarchy. We all learn a great deal from each other regardless of title, department, age, or experience.

We love what we do, which makes it a whole lot easier to excel—Mavens don’t quit, don’t give up, don’t accept mediocrity in themselves or others. If you want to be passionate about what you do and be proud of things you create… keep reading.

Finally: Are you a Maven?
Working for a start-up means you get to “get your hands dirty” and learn anything about everything—whether you want a better understanding of coding, biz dev, data sets or building a company from the ground up, any of the Mavens are happy to help you out in their areas of expertise.

You also get to work with the best of the best companies in the world and learn about their business and structure. You will be able to concretely see your contributions and the impact of your work, both internally and externally.

And you will join the Maven family. We’re obsessed with each other. We would do anything for each other. We embody the ethos of work hard, play hard. We blast music in the office and spend some portion of the week destroying each other in Mortal Kombat. We meet each other’s families, walk each other’s dogs, and at least once a month go out and eat, drink, and laugh ’til it hurts. We don’t have “work personalities” and “real life personalities”—we’re genuine to a fault and we embrace your weirdness.
