SolarEdge invented an intelligent photovoltaic system that revolutionized the way power is harvested and managed in a solar photovoltaic (PV) system.

The SolarEdge system consists of inverters, solar panel power optimizers , storage solutions, and a cloud-based monitoring platform.

The SolarEdge products include real-time and embedded SW,HW and a monitoring system.

In this position, you will take part in performing power simulation studies based on solar edge state of the art products.

What you will be doing:

- Work collaboratively with the product / certification/software/controls teams to ensure successful product development.
- Simulation analysis of designed circuits, data from experiments, and evaluation of measured signals
- Decompose system level requirements to drive component level design requirements.
- Work on a modular and scalable architecture that can be applied across a range of low-voltage and high-voltage electrified systems.
- Responsible for the specification, design, development, testing & validation of power electronics for global electrified applications. This role can include upgrade of existing designs, and applications engineering.
- Creativity and innovative ideas for complex system and component challenges.
- Generation of related documentation like schematics, procedures and technical reports
- Collaboration with external suppliers and project partners
- Understanding of global industry standards and trends to provide the latest technology solutions.


- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical engineering
- Highly motivated to succeed, a self-starter who is driven and able to work with others effectively to "get things done"
- Strong communication, client awareness, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge and experience in test automation in simulation. 
- Implementation tools and languages - C++, Python , Matlab & Simulink.
- Advanatge - Implementation with state of the art power simulation tools such Power Factory, PSSE and PSCAD).
- Advantage- 1-3+ years’ experience in high-voltage power electronics and control design, development and testing – DC/AC Inverters, DCDC Converters, On-Board Chargers, Power Distribution.
- Advantage - Hands on experience in power electronics hardware development including design, debugging and validation.
