Senior Data Engineer

What we are looking for:
We are looking for our first Data Engineer to join our growing team, someone who thrives working in a dynamic and fast-moving Startup!

In your day-to-day life you will develop ETL processes using a variety of tools.

You will work closely with the Data Scientists, the Software Engineers and the Data Analysts to optimize our Data pipelines and adapt the processes to enable the researchers to manipulate the data more easily. You will work with our customers many different data lakes and environments.

- +3 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Proven experience in Python.
- Advanced knowledge with SQL.
- Product and business orientation.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hive, Hadoop, Dask, Map-Reduce, etc.
- Experience with AWS cloud provider.
- Experience with relational and non relational DBs.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining data processing systems.
- Experience as a Backend Engineer- advantage
- Working with marketing data / consumers data - big advantage
- Being fun to work with is a massive advantage
