The Development and Public Affairs Division of Tel Aviv University is looking for a dynamic writer and editor to join its team. The role involves conceptualizing, writing and editing diverse materials in English for the purposes of fund-raising and PR. This is a full-time, in-house position with excellent conditions.

Job description:

• Writing content for the University’s website, print publications, and social networks
• Editing the University magazine, web articles, and other publications
• Leading the University’s social media strategy
• Giving input into other PR and marketing materials such as brochures and videos
• Supervising a small content team


• Relevant Undergraduate degree
• English at mother-tongue level a must (reading, writing and speaking)
• Fluent Hebrew a must
• Minimum 3 years’ writing experience
• Proven editing experience of high-level publications
• Ability to translate diverse and complex activities into succinct and appealing prose
• Strong understanding of social media strategy and production, specifically Twitter and LinkedIn
• Proficiency in standard software such as PowerPoint, Excel and MS Word, etc.
• Experience working with graphic designers and graphic software - advantage
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Go-getter, detail-oriented and creative
