WalkMe is looking for an experienced JavaScript developer to help develop the next generation of our most strategic core algorithms, the algorithm that recognizes the correct element in a web page despite a constantly changing web environment.

We are in search of someone to help us take it to the next level by improving the existing algorithm, and develop new solutions for special cases. You’ll get to work with cutting edge tools and technologies, come up with creative solutions for non-trivial problems, and see your work directly impact strategic business deals and other parts of the product. The Algorithm Developer should serve as a source of knowledge in our R&D department, and have the ability to work dynamically with other teams to solve the most complicated cases.

What will you actually be doing?
- Work on a core module that affects the entire product.
- Investigate and reverse-engineer javascript frameworks and infrastructures.
- Develop tools for testing and improving our algorithms - accuracy, performance, automatic configuration adjustments.
- Propose new ideas and algorithms and be able to test and compare them.
- Make decisions with far reaching implications regarding how to improve the algorithms in the long term.

- 3+ years of experience with JS tools (grunt / gulp / typescript / karma / browserify / etc..) and ability to learn new ones.
- Experience with NPM - develop & use cross platform modules.
- Ability to tackle problems in new territory / not afraid of getting down to the infrastructure, debugging libraries, understanding the environment (browser / node).
- Awareness of performance and memory signature.
- Know the difference between runtime environments and be able to adapt your coding to the target runtime (browsers / node)
- An open mind that questions the way we do things, and be on the lookout for new executions and ideas.
- Work within an ecosystem
- Understand the implications of an issue on other parts of the product, other projects and tasks, and adapt accordingly.
- Team player who likes to work as part of an engaging, collaborative team.
