The Sales Engineer is the technical owner of the sales cycle. He/she will work closely with our Account Executives as the product expert, to demonstrate a valuable WalkMe solution to their business challenges.

The Sales Engineer helps drive the sales process forward by managing technical relationships with different stakeholders, ensuring their technical needs are met and the project is set up for success.

The ideal candidate is energetic, possesses excellent communications skills, can articulate business value through technical solutions and is able to translate technical concepts to a nontechnical audience. We are looking for a creative, organized, autodidactic person who works well under pressure, someone who is both self-motivated and a team player.

What will you do?

The Sales Engineer manages all technical aspects of the opportunity:

- Move sales opportunities forward as the prospect’s technical point of contact and WalkMe product expert for web, desktop and mobile technologies
- Build and present WalkMe product demos to both technical and business-oriented audiences
- Conduct customer workshops on the WalkMe platform
- Address the customer’s technical requirements for the project, answer questions and liaise with R&D, Security, Support and Services to ensure the prospect’s technical needs are met
- Participate in RFP processes and showcase WalkMe’s superiority in a competitive market
- Articulate WalkMe’s architecture as well as data privacy/IT security compliance program to technical audiences
- Work as part of a team and share knowledge, while also working independently

Work week: Monday-Friday


- 2-3 years of experience as a sales engineer or solution architect, working with enterprise software products or services, Service Management and/or Integration experience is strongly preferred
- Familiar with Web technologies; HTML, CSS, jQuery
- Fluent English speaker
- Other languages - advantage
- Familiar with Mobile technologies - advantage
- Trained in Value Selling methods (Visualize, MEDDIC etc) - advantage
- Typically, may have a Bachelor Degree or global equivalent experience in an IT, business or sales related field
- Capable of delivering value pitches to business users at the Executive Sponsor level as well as leading deep-dive technical discussions with IT
- Demonstrated ability to assess customer requirements, identify business problems, and demonstrate proposed solutions.
- Experience with building, configuring and troubleshooting solutions as well as conduct product demonstrations and customer workshops
- Providing technical leadership and oversight during trials, Proof of Concept (POCs), complex demos, etc
- The skills to quickly and independently learn new technologies
