QA Engineer (Student Position)

Upstream is looking for a QA Engineer, in a student position, to join our Engineering team and help build the company’s cloud cybersecurity platform for the automotive and smart mobility ecosystem.

This role is part-time and is Herzliya Israel based.

Responsibilities:

- Create and execute manual tests
- Create and maintain automated tests using automation tools with scripts and recording tools
- Collaborate daily with our R&D teams to identify and resolve problems found during testing
- Work in close cooperation with product management and developers
- Deeply understand the business and technical requirements of existing and new products
- Work according to high execution standards, while adhering to project goals and ensuring high quality

REQUIREMENTS

- BSc.Student in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Information Systems Engineering - a must
- At least two years until graduation
- Availability for at least two working days a week - from office.
- Basic knowledge in SQL - a must
- Ability to research and resolve technical issues
- Highly organized and able to consistently deliver excellent quality on a timely manner
- Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable
- Excellent English communication capabilities (verbal and writing)
- Experience working with automation tools such as Tesitm.io / Playwright / Cypress - an advantage
- Proven experience in functional, regression, and integration testing - an advantage
