Description

Spotinst's Product Marketing Team Lead is an experienced marketer with a strong grasp of messaging, positioning and storytelling as well as a proven manager capable of guiding and developing a growing team.

In this role you will have the opportunity to make a highly visible impact on the success of Spotinst, being a key player in shaping Spotinst’s message to the market and how that message is delivered in a way that helps Spotinst to stand out and capture business. The Product Marketing Team Lead is responsible for guiding product, solution, technical and competitive marketing activities at Spotinst, will interact with and be highly visible to key executives across the company.

Main responsibilities:
- Identifying and assigning projects that will help their part of the marketing team support the goals and priorities of the marketing team and company
- Prioritizing competing projects and demands for their part of the marketing team
- Assisting and providing feedback to their team to create compelling messaging, positioning and content
- Mentoring and developing a strong product, solution, technical and competitive marketing team
- Identify and address key bottlenecks and obstacles within their team and in their team’s work with other parts of the marketing team and company
- Helping to coordinate content plans, announcements and launches with key stakeholders across the company
- Ensure smooth communication and cooperation within the marketing team

Requirements

- 5+ years of relevant marketing experience, ideally in product, solution or technical marketing
- Strong understanding of messaging, positioning and storytelling in the context of technology-driven products
- Proven success in managing a team of individual contributors
- Highly organized with an ability to manage resources, budgets, and personnel
- Strong communication skills, written and oral
- Highly organized and skilled at balancing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a relevant technical discipline (e.g. computer science, engineering, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience marketing cloud and software-as-a-service (SaaS) products to enterprise companies
- Proven success in a technology startup
- Understanding of content marketing best practices
