Description

Vimeo is looking for a creative product marketer for our video creation tools, to join a growing Product team with high visibility and strategic focus. This individual will work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and creative teams to orchestrate high-impact product launches and campaigns that drive user acquisition, engagement, product adoption, and retention. As a product marketer, you will connect our product capabilities and positioning to customer needs, and drive the go-to-market strategy for products that empower millions of creators to tell exceptional stories and connect with their audiences. This role is ideal for a data driven, self-starter, multi-tasker, who can hold a delicate balance between serving as a product strategist and a savvy marketer.

Responsibilities:
- Product launches: Plan and execute high impact go-to-market plans, partnering closely with product management and marketing teams
- Voice of customer: Conduct thorough user research and definition of user personas, surfacing qualitative and quantitative insights to guide product messaging and packaging
- Market expertise: Gather industry insights, competitive info, and market assessment, to shape product direction, pricing, and ensure product-market fit
- Positioning and messaging: Guide positioning for our products to establish Vimeo’s differentiation and assure our solutions are aligned with client needs and personas
- Demand generation and growth: Work with the Performance Marketing and growth teams to develop campaigns and optimize the marketing funnel towards product success goals
- Data analysis: Work closely with the Business Intelligence team to measure, track and optimize success of product marketing programs
- Content & collateral: Work with the content and creative teams on impactful content for our target audience, including product videos, case studies and thought leadership

Requirements

- 5+ years of product marketing experience (not digital marketing), ideally working on both consumer and B2B products
- Eloquent communicator (both written and oral), comfortable speaking in front of diverse audiences and evangelizing Vimeo’s products internally or at industry events
- Data-driven and can turn insights into actionable growth initiatives
- A self-starter who can independently work on both strategy and execution, get internal buy-ins, and communicate effectively upwards and downwards
- Experience working cross-functionally, rallying product management, marketing, PR, creative, BI, and legal teams behind initiatives
- Insane attention to detail and organizational skills, with an ability to toggle between high-level, long-term strategies and ground-level, short-term tasks effortlessly
- Experience working with highly technical and complex products is a plus
- Familiarity with video advertising products, social videos, and social marketing technology spaces is a plus
