Description
Dustphotonics is looking to add to its management team an experienced Product marketing Director.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify and quantify market opportunities for Dust Photonics products.
- Define detailed customer requirements for products.
- Frequently meetings with customers.
- Work closely with R&D to resolve trade-offs between product schedules, product requirements and customer requirements.
- Recommend new product roadmaps to management based on customer input and R&D capabilities.
- Analyze competitors strategies, technology and products.
- Develop product positioning and messaging informed by user research, market insights, and product understanding.
- Manage product pricing.
- Plan and take part in the launch of new products.
- Communicate new products and features, prepare product content such as presentations, white papers, case studies, and website content.
- Communicate product development delivery schedules and coordinate allocations of new product shipments as required.
- Manage and create the contents of sales and marketing materials. Creation of technical product documentation such as datasheets, application notes, product presentations, declaration, FAQs.
- Draft press releases and coordinate trade shows activities for product.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Optical, etc). MBA degree is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of work experience, of which at least 5 years of Product Management Experience in either the Optical Components, Networking Systems, Integrated Circuits or related industries is required.
- Strong leadership skills. Ability to influence and lead other organizations that have no formal reporting structure.
- High technical orientation - must.
- Excellent English - Highly articulated and clear in both speaking and writing - mother tongue level an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communications.
- Detail oriented, highly meticulous and perceptive.
- Good ability for multi-tasking and performance under pressure.
- Self-organized, learning, process-driven, analytical and problem-solving skills and also a great team player.
- Global experience: familiar with the benefits and challenges of working with people around the world.
