About The Role: Workiz is a platform that powers field service business in US & Canada.
We pride ourselves on working closely with our customers and providing solutions that grow and enhance their business. Our payments product is growing and we are looking for a Product Manager to join us and drive the end-to-end development and delivery of new payment and financial capabilities and features in workiz. If you have a passion for creating and executing innovative payments products and solutions for small businesses then this role might be a great fit.
What You Will Do:
- Work with our merchants and payment partners to closely understand their needs and challenges and transform those insights into innovative payment products and features.
- Drive a cross-functional team in creating and launching payment experiences across various customer experiences.
- Define product requirements, create user stories, clearly articulate acceptance criteria for payment use cases, maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
- Partner closely with our talented engineering teams on product execution and work to ensure the health of your product by balancing new features with maintenance and technical debt.
- Define key performance metrics and analyze and communicate the progress and effectiveness of your product initiatives.
- Work closely with our service pros to understand their needs and deliver payment options that help drive their business.
Requirements
- End-to-end product management experience focused on shipping and scaling innovative products.
- Proven experience managing products using payment solutions.
- A thinker and a doer - effective at driving both product strategy and execution.
- A creative innovator with the ability to define business tradeoffs and value; generate out-of-the-box solutions, and cut through ambiguity to drive results.
- An effective collaborator and engaging communicator with the ability to influence and align various cross-functional stakeholders.
- Customer-focused with the natural ability to empathize with their needs and motivated to deliver exceptional experiences.
- Self-driven and organized with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute multiple initiatives.
- Data-driven - able to derive meaning from various sources of data and leverage those insights to solve problems and to enhance our product roadmap.
