One of Wix’s Design System teams. Our goal is to ensure a cohesive experience across our apps and keep a high standard and efficiency in developing a usable design system for all the teams. We create components that affect millions of users, and are used by even more site visitors, involved in each step in the lifecycle - from research to design, development and release.
As Product Designer in the Design System, you will:
- Collaborate with Product & UX designers, product managers, frontend developers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and provide creative, thoughtful solutions inside and outside the team.
- Become a trusted team member and play a key role at every stage of the product lifecycle, heading up the end-to-end development of new products, and ensuring our goals are aligned with Wix apps needs.
- Be open to learning new products, workflows and new technologies.
- Own the full design cycle from research to hands-on design, collecting inspiration and creating an intuitive, accessible, pixel-perfect UI for all states and scenarios, and deliver to development.
- Work with the development team to ensure designs are implemented to spec and collaborate to come up with creative design solutions when technical challenges arise.
- Be a design system advocate, actively get the different product teams on board.
- Advocate for the prioritization of design-centered changes, refinements, and improvements.

Requirements
A Product Designer with at least 3 years’ experience in web design or product design. Preferably, you've been involved in the creation/maintenance of a design system. You understand the product lifecycle from research to production, and are a master in delivering clear, accessible, top-notch design specs. With your strong leading communication and organizational skills, you love to focus on solving complex product problems. You have a sense for extraordinary, pixel-perfect design solutions and you’re a team player who knows how to collaborate with different people.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication Design or equivalent working experience in web design fields. You’re proficient with industry-standard design tools (e.g. Sketch, Figma, Illustrator) and have a portfolio highlighting multiple projects that demonstrate experience in crafting usable digital interfaces.
You speak and write English at a high level. Knowledge of CSS and HTML is a bonus.
