Atera is the developer of a data-based, IT automation and security platform that combines RMM, PSA, and remote access into one powerful solution, tailor-made for IT support businesses and professionals. Atera is a ‘no-touch’ company, which means that product UI and UX set the tone, and are key to our success.

As a product design team lead, you’ll be responsible for your team’s professional growth, design deliverables, and well-being. You’ll be a dominant force in the evolution of Atera’s design maturity, and balance speed of delivery with due diligence—while always representing and listening to our customers’ needs for a perfect experience.

You will:

- Be accountable for the quality of design deliverables of your team
- Work closely with the product and dev leaders to plan tasks that impact the team’s OKRs such as activation, retention, and new services adoption
- Track and enforce mature design processes
- Lead a data-based design culture
- Ensure design consistency throughout the Atera product
- Be responsible for your team’s well being, growth and satisfaction
- Collaborate with product and dev managers to create healthy communication and alignment between the teams
- Constantly drive to improve UX maturity of the design team
- Help and guide the designers to become even better at their craft
- Represent our users
- When needed, work hands-on in the design effort, to stay in touch with the process


- 1+ years of experience as a product design team lead, managing and leading designers
- 7+ years experience designing complex systems and user flows
- Strong leadership and social skills
- The ability to lead projects from A to Z
- Analytical thinking; the ability to analyze UX problems and come up with data-based solutions
- The ability to work closely with product teams to solve user experience problems
- The ability to communicate design ideas to development teams, as well as lead projects through ongoing development
- Extensive experience in UX design processes
- Awesome portfolio 🙂

Bonus points

- Experience in a “no-touch” SaaS company
- Familiarity with the IT space
- Mobile experience
