The Pre-Sales Manager is a customer-focused technical sales manager who lead, guide the pre-sales team and provide high level pre-sales support and guidance to customers while collaborating with sales managers and partners to recommend and develop appropriate customer solution offerings. The Pre-Sales manager lead the training and guiding of the sales team with pre-sales technical knowledge, architecture, problem solving, offers demos and technical presentations while working closely with sales managers, prospects and partners as a subject-matter expert to demonstrate how a proposed solution meets and exceeds the customer’s requirements.

Essential Functions
- Support the company’s sales team in presenting and communicating technological solutions.
- Lead pre-sales team (currently up to 2 team members) in addition to being hands-on.
- Possess demonstrable skills in customer-centric selling and a proven track record.
- Take responsibility for technical/operational aspects of solutions, including technical and commercial proposals, bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work and coordination of supporting technical resources.
- Guide the sales team in aligning company solutions to a prospect’s desired business outcomes, while understanding requirements and challenges, and providing experience-based guidance.
- Understand thoroughly the deal scope and its associated scope of work, in order to assess cost and alignment with the company’s product roadmap.
- Refine and research technical requirements of the opportunity
- Train regional sales personnel and update them periodically with product knowledge.
- Represent the designated market / customers internally to influence the product roadmap, priority and timeline.
- Form white papers, Impact assessments, high-level solution descriptions and pricing strategies
- Willingness to travel abroad: travel requirement of 40% of the time


- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of managerial experience in leading pre sales-customer facing functions.
- 3+ years of experience as a Sales/Systems Engineer in the cybersecurity industry.
- Experience in Public sector/intelligence investigation area. Proven expertise and understanding broad scope of intelligence function
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including being able to interact with senior executives
- Exceptional written communication. This role requires an ability to understand and articulate both the business benefits (value proposition) and technical advantages of the solutions
- A self-starter and proactive leader willing to display initiative with common sense
- Disciplined, organized and methodical in approach to tasks and activities
- A TEAM player who acts with urgency, commitment, and high integrity
