As part of SolarEdge business growth and acquired companies, new and exciting business challenges require us to continuously control, evaluate and monitor our operations. The Operations controller will report to VP FP&A and is a key factor in developing and establishing new operational excellence practices as well as enhance the existing ones, while closely integrating its activities with finance and other corporate functions in order to provide senior management with best available information and analysis for its decision-making process.

What you will be doing

- Closely partner and collaborate with our key operations leaders and their teams to understand end-to-end operations and supply chain performance

- Identify, monitor, analyze, and optimize the key and critical operational activities around the supply chain and its stakeholders, both internally and externally

- Closely monitor and strive to optimize our interfaces and engagements with contract manufactures and ensure accurate pricing and charges.

- Assist in optimization of BOM cost for existing and new products

- Support and analyze manufacturing expenses to identify and execute cost reduction

- Collaborate with various functions in our operations department to drive efficiency initiatives for in and out bound shipments to drive costs down

- Serve as a financial business partner for both direct and indirect purchasing functions to support cost reduction activities

Requirements

- BA degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Accounting , Finance, Business Management or equivalent – a must.

- MBA is preferred

- 3+ years of experience as operations analyst / Financial Analyst / FP&A analyst – a must

- Prior experience in technological manufacturing companies – strong advantage

- Data driven personality with strong complex data capabilities

- Is attentive to details and with the ability to tie those to the wider perspective and context

- Comfortable with working in an uncertain, high pace environment while meeting organizational due dates and timelines

- Ability to work independently

- Is capable of developing and maintaining the required internal interfaces with corporate functions, both senior and not

- Willingness to travel abroad at varying frequencies, dependent on tasks and workload

- English - fully proficient both in writing and verbally.
