Description

Taboola is the world’s leading content discovery platform, serving 360B recommendations to over 1B unique visitors each month on the web’s most innovative publisher sites, including NBC, USA Today, The Weather Channel, Tribune and Fox Sports.

Taboola is looking for a Media Fraud specialist whose responsible for investigating potential fraud, prevent billing Fraud and to keep our network free of any abnormal behaviours that fall under the category of fraud or Risk. The successful candidate should have an understanding of the online industry. She/he will be able to solve problems and communicates well with others.

Responsibilities
- Be the gatekeeper for advertisers registering to Taboola
- Identify and investigate advertisers with payment risk issues
- Perform daily fraud checks and investigations based on alerts and internal indications
- Identify abnormal behavior and fraud trends by looking at various parameters, technologies and tools
- Gather and interpret data from multiple sources- be comfortable working with bulk data and reporting
- Timely response to incoming inquiries via email and ticketing system, Communicate urgent issues in an easy to understand format (verbal and written)
- Work with Internal teams from different departments on a daily basis to solve issues
- Working 2-3 days a week, Including Fridays.

Requirements

- Ability to make fact-based decisions quickly coupled with great attention to detail to ensure high-quality work products
- Familiar with MS office (mainly Excel) and Google Drive tools for updating progress
- Have good search and navigating skills
- Troubleshooting experience, understand flows and provide creative solutions
- Use data driven internal tools and external technology identify fraud, Basic Knowledge in SQL
- Excellent work pacing (time management) skills, able to prioritize
- Results driven, meet goals & comply with deadlines
- Fluent English and excellent customer facing and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Multi-tasking, Self learner, Highly motivated and a team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently and within a team, and learn, learn, learn!
- Ability to understand contexts and see the bigger picture within the grey areas

Nice to have
- Previous experience with Salesforce/Jira
- Knowledge of internet technologies including: MySQL database / HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Knowledge of global pop culture and an active social media user
- Experience in a multinational organization
