Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a CAD Engineer to join our team, focusing on machine-building projects. The ideal candidate will have the ability to fully design machines with a focus on production efficiency. This position requires a self-motivated individual with hands-on abilities and a willingness to continuously learn.

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop machine components and assemblies using CAD software.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to create detailed machine designs that meet project requirements.
- Ensure designs are optimized for production efficiency and reliability.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical recommendations for machine improvements.
- Generate accurate engineering drawings and documentation for manufacturing.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input to enhance design quality and performance.
- Work closely with production teams to support machine assembly and testing activities.
- Create drawings for automotive and architectural projects.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering\practical engineering or related field
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) with a minimum of 3 years of experience
- Strong understanding of machine-building principles and manufacturing processes
- Knowledge in Converting and roll to roll machines-Advantage
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team environment, mainly in Israel and Germany
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Hands-on experience with machine building or fabrication is preferred
- Self-motivated with a desire for continuous learning and skill development
- Familiarity with PLC-controlled machines is preferred
- Fluent in English
