Role Overview:
Jewish News Syndicate, the fastest-growing news agency covering Israel and the Jewish world is seeking a full-time Marketing & Sales Writer for our Marketing Team. This is a hybrid role with offices located in Jerusalem.

We are looking for an exceptional writer who also demonstrates initiative, creativity, and a proactive approach to their work. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you'll create engaging content that drives action (including: social media posts, emails, website copy, blog articles, reports, case studies, video scripts, and digital ads) ensuring brand consistency and user engagement.

The ideal candidate will be process and system driven, with a knack for crafting compelling, persuasive content that tells our story and drives our mission forward, alongside proven expertise in creating sales copy that converts. We're seeking a writer who thrives in both arenas, delivering engaging narratives and actionable sales messaging.

This role requires adaptability and creativity, as content needs may expand to include new platforms and formats to effectively engage our audience and meet strategic objectives.

It's crucial that our marketing sales writer deeply resonates with our mission, reflecting an understanding and passion for Israel and the Jewish world in their work. Your writing should reflect a commitment to our cause and community.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Produce compelling sales and ad copy for marketing materials, lead generation campaigns, email campaigns and integrated communications that resonate with the audience and garner support for JNS's mission and initiatives
- Manage and curate seasonal marketing content for diverse platforms such as email, digital, print, and social media, along with crafting engaging messaging for videos, events and webinars, sales enablement tools and presentations.
- Conduct audience research and stay abreast of current trends to inform content strategy
- Develop and maintain content to bolster the employer brand
- Working in cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with marketing, editorial, fundraising and sales departments to ensure cohesive messaging across all platforms.

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in marketing writing, writing sales and ad copy, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns and materials
- English-Mother tongue
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences and platforms
- Ability to think outside the box and produce quality content for marketing purposes, in an efficient and timely manner
- Data-driven, with experience in leveraging data and analytics to inform content strategy and evaluate the impact of your writing is highly desirable.
- Comfortable translating insights into effective, targeted messaging.
- Strong research skills and the ability to translate complex information into compelling and accessible content that drives action
- Excellent project management, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and takes initiative
- Knowledge of SEO is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field a plus
- Familiarity with the Global/American Jewish Communities is a plus
