We are looking for an experienced Printed Circuit Board Layout Editor to join our R&D team.

Responsibilities:

- Design and implement Advanced PCBs layout.
- Interact with Mechanical engineers and electrical engineers to understand the requirements.
- Conduct Layout design reviews.
- Prepare all manufacturing and assembly files.
- Layout of silicon photonics chips – Understand the PDK and design rules.
- Prepare all production material for tape-out.
- Interface with suppliers about technical questions.

REQUIREMENTS

Required previous experience:

- Excellent familiarity with editing tools, Allegro/Altium - a must.
- Experience in high-speed editing - a must.
- Familiarity with substrates editing or chip layout (Cadence Virtuoso) - an advantage.
- Experience working with PCB/Substrate manufacturers.

Required Skills:

- Understanding of electronic circuits - reading blueprints - a must.
- Familiarity with Python - an advantage.
- Understanding PCB/Substrate/Chip manufacturing technologies, design rules, etc.
- Team player, excellent human relations.

Education:

- Practical engineer/Technician – Preferred
- Electronics studies.
