We are looking for a Junior Process Development Engineer to join our R&D team.

Responsibilities:

- Taking part in the development of an electro-optical module – Mechanics/Optical components and Assembly Process.
- Hands-on development and implementation of unique processes for the Assembly of Optical and Electrical components.
- Participate in problem solving & Failure Analysis investigations.
- Optimize and assist in the transfer of process and methods from R&D to high volume automated manufacturing (HVM).

REQUIREMENTS

- Education: Degree in Engineering or Physics (Higher level degree an advantage).
- Familiarity and understanding in Statistical data analysis (Excel, JMP or Python).
- Familiarity and understanding of basic concepts in technology-rich manufacturing (e.g. CMOS fabrication, electronics packaging, optical fibers, electro-optics, MEMS).
- Experience in carrying out lab research, including design of experiments (DOE).
- Familiarity with materials characterization and failure analysis methods (e.g. SEM, FIB, EDS).
