Scope: The CHW Israel Liaison is responsible for coordinating and managing all of the organization’s affairs, operations and investments in Israel, via the CHW Israel Office. The Liaison will implement all strategic plans determined by the National Office in Canada. The Liaison will provide all services required to support CHW in Israel and Canada. The Liaison will report to and receive assignments from the CHW National Executive Director as well as CHW National President. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Public Relations:

• Liaise between CHW National Office, partner organizations and CHW projects.

• Represent CHW to partner and public organizations as well as Israeli authorities.

• Educate partner organizations and CHW projects about mission, vision and activities of CHW.

• Contribute to the production of CHW publications by providing pictures, material and stories on a weekly, bi-weekly and monthly basis.

• Contribute to CHW social media on a daily basis.

Donor Support:

• Schedule and escort project visits for CHW donors and volunteers.

• Ensure proper donor recognition at CHW projects.

• Prepare regular donor reports with personal stories and other updates as appropriate, on ongoing basis

Mission Planning:

• Plan, prepare and escort CHW missions to Israel.

Project Management:

• Oversee existing CHW physical projects and those under construction. 

• Visit CHW projects on a monthly basis as per the schedule approved by CHW National Executive Director.

• Verify all project proposals and other quotes presented by partner organizations and third parties; tender proposals as needed.

• Oversee CHW donations, allocations and related project activities.


• Implement short- and long-term strategic plans as determined by CHW National Executive Director.

• Identify ongoing project needs and related funding requests.

• Provide ongoing information regarding all investments and projects for grant writing and fundraising.


• Manage CHW Israel Office including record keeping, banking, financial and project activity reporting.

• Formulate Summary Weekly Activity Reports and submit to CHW National Executive Director.

• Formulate Monthly Progress Reports and submit to CHW National Executive Director.

• Formulate Minutes of all meetings with third parties and CHW project heads.


- Team player working closely with CHW National Office. 

- Highly organized with ability to work independently.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Very good English writing skills.

- Fluent in English and Hebrew (spoken and written).

- Hebrew-English-Hebrew translation/interpretation skills.

- Excellent computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Outlook.

- Ability to drive to CHW projects across Israel.

- Sometimes work on Saturdays
