Smore is a collaborative newsletter tool. We have millions of users across the globe, and we're adding more happy customers daily.

We're looking for a competitive sales rep to join our team to help qualify and close new sales using existing and potential customer networks. We've developed our internal sales team to focus mainly on inbound sales from the K12 Education Market in the US.

You should be familiar with using a CRM and comfortable making zoom demo calls to prospective clients everyday.

What you'll be doing:

- Responding, engaging and qualifing inbound leads and inquiries
- Establishing, developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
- Performing effective Zoom demo calls to qualify new inbound leads
- Writing and sending follow-up and onboarding emails
- Achieving monthly goals
- Presenting, promoting and selling services based on customer needs to existing and prospective customers
- Managing and organizing the live pipeline to bring qualified leads from prospecting to close
- Managing existing and new accounts to ensure a low churn rate and ensure future sales
- Coordinating sales effort with team members and other departments
- Taking the initiative to research best practices and promotional trends
- Desiring to learn and grow with the company through professional development resources

Smore is a collaborative team, and we're seeking someone who will proactively work with other departments. We want a motivated, results-driven individual who can apply insights from sales to assist other teams in developing solutions that address interesting challenges. We want someone who can help grow Smore as both a product and as a company.


- Familiarity with CRM/Sales Automation systems (Pipedrive preferred)
- Experience selling Saas products remotely using Zoom
- Experience as an account manager or sales rep working in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with selling to large organizations, especially government and educational organization
- Experience with startup culture
