HSTalks publishes two highly regarded collections (The Biomedical & Life Sciences Collection and The Business & Management Collection). They are both available on annual subscription with licences granting unlimited access 24 hours a day every day of the year.

About the Role:

HSTalks is seeking an Account Relationship Manager to join our Academic Subscriber Services Team and manage relationships with existing academic subscribers (universities, colleges, business schools and medical schools) in over 50 countries worldwide.

• Develop relationships with faculty, library staff and administrators at the subscribing institutions to ensure internal marketing campaigns are regularly undertaken so that faculty, teachers and students are aware of their access to the HSTalks collections
• Work with lecturers and other instructors to ensure they are embedding relevant content in their courses
• Communication with relevant parties by email, telephone, and Skype
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Tracking and managing relevant account information


• 1-3 years of experience in sales and/or business and client support
• Written and spoken English as a mother-tongue is essential ; other languages an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree – preference for a degree in business, biomedical and life sciences, or related field
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities
• Results oriented, ambitious & hard worker
• Ability to work flexible hours as our subscribers are located around the globe (from Australia to the west coast of the USA)
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
• Ability to track and organize data
• Proficiency in Salesforce, an advantage
