Data is at the core of everything HiredScore does. It drives our decisions and our product. We are in the business of converting data into stories and customer and user value. As our Head of Business Intelligence, you’ll be working across nearly all teams and leading our data analysts and other data professionals to support and enhance our culture of data, support our clients and the market in leveraging data, and crafting the stories and messages of our purpose and mission.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Be a strategic partner to the business and support the stories and solutions that improve business decision making
- Lead a team responsible for connecting the dots between data and impact that will drive growth through a compelling story supported by analytics
- Translate data in a way that helps drive predictability and velocity for new and current clients
- Work closely with Product, Customer Success, R&D and our Executive Team and to identify and establish BI needs
- Perform deep analysis of core features & customer data
- Build data-based tools and models for continuous product performance monitoring and optimization
- Work directly with our customers, deeply understand their KPI’S and ensure we are supporting to their data and reporting needs
- Define the requirements required from Data Engineering and oversee the implementation of BI solutions
- Develop insights-based presentations from analytics and present internally & support external stakeholders
- Create forecasts and actionable recommendations for business decisions

- +5 years’ experience in managing the Business Intelligence team and operational reporting strategy and delivery
- +5 years’ experience in business data modelling and business subject areas for key business processes
- +5 years’ of managerial and team lead experience
- Passion for data storytelling and hands-on experience with analytical and visualization tools
- Technical expertise with the oversight of BI analytics data warehouses and systems
- In depth, hands-on expertise in SQL, other querying languages a strong advantage (relational as well as non-relational databases)
- Ability to multitask and handle various priorities
- Experience working in a high paced Tech Start-Up
- High level of English written and verbal communication skills is required
- Self-directed, ambitious, team player, and a strong communicator
