Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Director of marketing, the graphic designer owns GuardKnox’s brand language and is responsible for managing all of GuardKnox’s visual, creative, and design materials while maintaining a consistent look and feel. The graphic designer will help define GuardKnox’s brand as the company scales and head the creation of marketing communication materials (brochures, eBooks, whitepapers, etc.), key messaging materials (product briefs, PowerPoint Slides, website graphics and pages), graphics and banners for Employer Branding, as well as technical illustrations to support the technical teams. (Technical briefs, datasheets, etc.) They are comfortable managing external designers and agencies while also working on their own designs and creatives at the same time.

Responsibilities Include:

- Lead all GuardKnox design needs
- Play a pivotal role in developing GuardKnox’s brand voice in all presentations, videos, product briefs, data sheets, etc
- Managing and coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designer, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
- Creating a wide range of creative and graphics for product materials, branding, social media, print, website pages, presentations and more
- Presenting design updates and new directions to relevant stakeholders
- Work closely with the rest of the marketing team to ensure all marketing materials have a consistent look and feel while conveying the right message to the automotive audience
- Work closely with the Product and R&D teams to create technical illustrations and graphics to support ongoing opportunities with business prospects
- Work closely with outsourced designers and other relevant service providers to ensure brand identity is maintained and GuardKnox’s USPs are accurately presented


- English – fluent English speaker – a must
- Software: Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop – a must
- 3+ years of design experience at a technology company – a must
- Portfolio of past work – a must
- Sharp eye for aesthetics and details
- Able to take complex ideas and present them in an understandable design
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders (marketing, R&D, HR) and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro – an advantage
- Experience with Canva – an advantage
- Experience working in the hi-tech or automotive industry – an advantage
