Description

The Global Director of Sales Development is a gifted hunter who will lead a team of SDR’s and BDR’s to master the art of lead qualification and development. Our ideal SDR/BDR Team Leader is first and foremost an effective communicator both inside and outside the organization. The SDR/BDR TL will be responsible for building and coaching a team of SDR’s and BDR’s who love to prospect, research and reach out to decision-makers in order to bring back qualified prospects with a need for our software.

Responsibilities

- Recruit, hire, train, lead, coach and manage a team of Sales Development Reps who are responsible for qualifying and developing inbound MQL’s, nurturing into SQL, and identifying and researching prospective clients through a mixture of research, cold calling, personalized email campaigns & networking.
- Motivate and maintain high morale and culture of success for the SDR/BDR team.
- Set business development priorities and key selling strategies to achieve sales objectives.
- Continue to build and strengthen your team through recruiting, hiring and development strategies
- Define, measure and implement best practices for Inbound SDRs and outbound BDRs.
- Lead the daily activities and quota performance management of individual SDRs/BDRs.
- Achieve monthly targets set by management.
- Understand SysAid’s diverse value proposition and sales pitch in order to effectively coach the SDR/BDR team to attract qualified prospects and carry them through the cycle.
- Provide ongoing market feedback reports and ways to refine positioning and inbound strategies.
- Keep SysAid management informed by ensuring accurate and thorough records within Salesforce.
- Weekly reporting on challenges, successes, and progress.

Requirements

- 5+ years in software sales
- 2+ years of management experience in a business development/sales development environment
- Experience selling at a leading technology company and a track record of exceeding quota targets. SaaS experience is a plus.
- Track record of developing and mentoring Sales Development Representatives
- Proven experience prospecting via cold calling, email, and social selling
- Experience using and implementing a sales methodology
- Experience with sales force automation and related technologies
- Strong understanding of SDR/BDR skillset: cold calling/emailing, discovery questions, objection handling, storytelling, and time management
- Ability to motivate the group as well as work with different personalities
- Desire to help others succeed
- Entrepreneurial drive with a desire to learn and continuously improve
- Superior organization, communication and time management skills
- English proficiency
