Description

Join Autobrains, a pioneering AI automotive startup, as a Fleet System Engineer based in Israel. This full-time, on-site role offers a dynamic and challenging opportunity to blend software and hardware integration skills within the fast-evolving automotive industry.

If you excel in Python3, Bash, and C++ and are proficient in technologies like Linux, Git, Docker, and ROS2, you could be instrumental in developing and supporting high-tech, intelligent vehicle systems. Our ideal candidate is not only tech-savvy but also mechanically adept, familiar with the latest in sensor technology, and ready to deliver solutions that drive Autobrains forward globally.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and support HMI for validation, testing, and data collection.
- Integration and design of new sensors. (Electric & Mechanic integration).
- Develop and maintain logging solutions for complex systems with multiple sensors.
- Provide customer support (on-site and remote) Including New system integrations, test track activities, and testing/validation tasks at customers in the EU region with the option to fly to the Americas and Far East when needed).
- Prepare Demo on-site and abroad. Act as the company representative when needed.
- Support and maintain Autobrains's fleet of test vehicles globally.

REQUIREMENTS

- Relevant BSc.
- Willingness to travel abroad.
- Integration of software and hardware.
- New hardware bring-up, including SoC and sensors.
- Programming skills in Python3, Bash, and C++ (optional).
- Proficiency in the following technologies: Linux, Git, Docker, ROS2, and PyQt, (or another GUI framework).
- Understanding of basic standard communication protocols - RS424/232, Ethernet, Can-bus etc.
- Mechanical engineering capabilities, familiar with 3D printing and SolidWorks.
- Basic knowledge of electrical power distribution systems and the ability to understand electrical schematics.
- Strong technical abilities - able to fix issues in cars/labs if needed, including wiring, cable management, and more.
- Strong IT capabilities.
- Familiar with the Automotive industry - Advantage
- Experience with Sensors Camera, Lidar, Radar - Advantage
