Role Overview:

Jewish News Syndicate (JNS) is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant to the Chief Development Officer. This is a hybrid role with offices located in Jerusalem.

We’re looking for an energetic, tech savvy, and highly organized individual dedicated to supporting the Chief Development Officer, ensuring efficient operations, strategic initiatives, and coordination of fundraising efforts. The role involves managing administrative tasks such as the Chief Development Officer's schedule, drafting fundraising communications, conducting donor research and communication, and organizing trips and missions. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer service focus, understanding the importance of confidentiality and collaboration with stakeholders. In addition, one who deeply resonates with our mission, reflecting an understanding and passion for Israel and the Jewish world in their work.

What You'll Do:
- Supervise the Chief Development Officer’s schedule, handle correspondence, prepare and distribute documents, book rooms, arrange catering, take meeting minutes, and create agendas.
- Efficiently manage daily administrative tasks and assist in identifying issues critical for attention, allowing the Director to focus on strategic initiatives.
- Draft communications for fundraising purposes.
- Collaborate with the fundraising team to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
- Circulate information about upcoming engagements and fundraising initiatives to the Board and other stakeholders.
- Communicate with donors and their teams.
- Conduct research on current and potential donors
- Organize trips, missions, and delegations in Israel and abroad.

Requirements

What You Have:
- 7+ years of experience working as a personal assistant or office admin.
- English as a mother tongue and working knowledge of Hebrew (written & spoken), with a clear, persuasive writing style.
- Strong writing skills
- Familiarity with standard office technology and platforms. (Database, SalesForce or similar, a plus)
- Excellent time and task management skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with deadlines.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Experience working with high net worth individuals or high-profile clients.
- Excellent interpersonal and administrative skills.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, efficient, and a problem solver.
- Willingness and ability to work flexible hours as necessary.
- Deep resonance with our mission, reflecting an understanding and passion for Israel and the Jewish world in your work.
- Experience working with nonprofit organizations is a plus.
- Familiarity with the Global/American Jewish Communities is a plus.
