Role Summary:

In this role, you will have overall responsibility for project deployments, integration and support with our customers, leading a team of 5+ Support Engineers. Management on all commercially deployed products to customers. Working with an experienced global support team. Providing world-class support to your customers.

Key responsibilities:
- Support the integration of products and software management solutions on mobile devices, automotive systems and operator networks.
- Provide high-quality technical support via phone, e-mail and on-site to customers.
- Manage a team of Field Application Engineers, support their projects from technical perspective as well as manage their tasks and priorities
- Manage and track the team’s activities, open tasks and cases, prioritization and escalations to global support / R&D.
- Develop demonstration integrations and tools for Red Bend’s products on various platforms such as mobile devices and automotive systems
- Assist in development of Technical Support knowledge base; documenting issues resolutions.
- Identify product enhancement opportunities through regular interaction with customers.


- At least 2 years of experience in a managerial role, managing a team of 3-5 engineers- A must!
- At least 6 years of customer support experience- A must!
- At least 3 years of development experience in C on Linux embedded- A must!
- Experience with embedded OS development (e.g. QNX/Linux/Android)
- Strong problem solving/debugging capabilities
- Experience & knowledge of Java (J2ME / J2SE) development/ Server development - A big advantage!
- Experience & knowledge of DB – Oracle, SQL, NoSQL – an advantage!
- Experience working with global customers
- Handling support cases and post-sales processes
- Strong time and project management skills
- Ability to travel as needed to support regional FAEs and customers
- High level of English

Nice to have:
- Knowledge of automotive embedded control systems
- Automotive/mobile industry experience
- Experience with OMA-DM
- B.Sc. degree in computer science/ Industrial Engineering
- At least 6 years of customer support experience- A must!
- Knowledge of C/C++ and scripting languages (Perl, Python, shell, Ant)
- Experience in and knowledge of the embedded software and the mobile handset market
