As an Embedded Software Architect at Autobrains, you'll be a pivotal part of our work on the next generation of autonomous vehicles. Our groundbreaking technology serves as the "Brain Behind the Car," employing an advanced AI platform that simulates neural signal processing. In this role, you'll tackle intellectually stimulating challenges as we push the boundaries of AI for ultra-scale autonomous platforms and products. Responsibilities:

- Establish and maintain the software architecture, including interfaces and component requirements for advanced SOC
- Ensure the architecture aligns with industry standards - Autosar, Aspice, and ISO26262
- Work closely with internal R&D teams, the Company’s partners, and customers to integrate different components seamlessly.
- Lead the integration of Autobrains software into multi-platform hardware.
- Develop real-time computational solutions for CPUs and hardware accelerators within edge devices.
- Design and develop software across a variety of microcontroller platforms.
- Diagnose and resolve software and hardware malfunctions within embedded systems.
- Define communication through CANBus and other automotive industry standards.
- Continually monitor advancements in AI and embedded systems technology.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Expertise in Architecture design and Requirements Management
- 7+ years of professional experience in real-time embedded systems and software development.
- Demonstrated proficiency in C/C++ programming.
- Familiarity with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) such as FreeRTOS or QNX.
- Prior work with automotive System-on-Chip (SoC) technologies.
- Competency in integrating AI algorithms within embedded systems.
- Knowledge of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), deep learning, and computer vision.
- Acquaintance with MISRA C coding standards.
- Previous experience in automotive industry software development is an advantage
- The ability to travel frequently is essential
