We are seeking a senior Director of Product Management to join our dynamic product management team in the Tel Aviv office. You will be the product leader for Ownbackup’s In-Market products and manage a team of product managers responsible for those. 

As a product line leader, you will set the vision and strategy for the product line, with a clear vision and strategy for 12-18 months that will uncover revenue opportunities for the business, deliver incremental enhancements and create market innovation for the customers. You will convince and inspire stakeholders such as senior executives, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to rally behind your strategy, and you will hold yourself and the teams in a matrixed structure accountable for delivering products that customers love to use and at the same time meeting company business goals.

As a manager, you will be responsible for hiring, developing, training, and retaining a diverse and strong product team. You will lead by example, you will actively work to develop and grow team members through both formal training and hands-on experience with new challenges so that they can learn the art and science of product management  

You will work with the Head of Product and Head of Engineering designing and implementing new and industrialized product management processes that fit with existing engineering practices, and then put them into practice in the location. You will lead by example, managing, engaging with customers gathering requirements, writing specs, managing backlog, working with the engineers, doing acceptance testing, documenting for the customer, and working with marketing and sales on go-to-market strategies. In addition to being expected to own the roadmap for your product(s), you will work with the head of product on building the company’s overall product roadmap.

Required Experience:

- At least 10 years of experience in a product management role, including working with customers, prospects, pre-and post-sales teams, marketing, and engineering organizations. 
- At least 5 years of experience managing product management team, 
- At least 10 years working with Agile and Lean product development methodologies and adapting them to different team sizes/types. 
- Strong communications skills and a knowledge of when and how to have conversations that focus on the details and when to present a strategic view.
- Experience managing technical SaaS products, building a vision for them, and engaging deeply with engineering counterparts on detailed requirements.
- Using data to guide product decisions and direction. 
- At least 5 years of experience with enterprise software. 
- Analyzing competitors’ offerings and comparing them to yours. Desired Experience:
- 2nd-level or 3-level management experience
- Training and developing PM resources.
- Experience or familiarity with the SaaS ecosystems such as Salesforce, MS Dynamics, ServiceNow.
- Direct experience building products in the infrastructure software space.
- Meaningful time working in a technical role as part of a development group

This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work out of our Tel Aviv office to maximise collaboration and interaction with the business.
