Established in 2022, Guardz rapidly emerged as a noteworthy player in the cybersecurity sphere, securing $28M in funding and rallying a dedicated team of 30 industry professionals. Our vision is to foster a safer digital landscape for small and medium businesses across the globe. To this end, we introduced our comprehensive all-in-one Secure & Insure platform in early 2023, which has already started generating revenue.

As the Finance Director, you will be responsible for establishing and leading the finance function at Guardz, playing a key role in building the financial infrastructure, implementing processes, and providing strategic financial guidance to support our growth and success. You will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company as well as possible risks and investments. It's a pivotal role in our dynamic startup environment that requires hands-on work, strong operational skills and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and oversee the company's financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.

- Analyze financial performance and key metrics to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.

- Establish and maintain financial reporting systems and processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results.

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

- Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning to support the company's day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.

- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense management.

- Implement and optimize financial systems and processes to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.

- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute the financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.

- Provide in-depth financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support key business decisions and growth initiatives.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a high-tech (SaaS) organization.

- Exceptional business partnering skills, with demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and at various levels within the company.

- Ability to work under pressure and to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.

- Positive, hands-on and proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Excellent English (written and spoken).

- Experience with ERP/CRM systems.

- Initiate and lead ad hoc projects.
