We’re looking for a Director of Finance to join our team (US OR Tel-Aviv). As HiredScore’s first Director of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing all things related to finance and accounting. With some processes, policies, and systems in place, you will help take us to the next level as the first full-time Finance team member. You will play a critical role in our business strategy, ensuring our financial health, rapid growth, and global expansion. You will have a solid foundation of policies, practices, systems, and reporting in place with the opportunity to accelerate and improve our financial transparency, processes, and outcomes in our high growth environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with previous startup experience. In this leadership position, you will work closely with our CEO & founder and leadership team. You will immediately make an impact by playing a key role in strategic decision making.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead the finance function within the business, with a focus both on strategic decision-making and oversight and also tactical day-to-day delivery
- Support and enhance our financial model to drive strategic planning, budgeting, and revenue forecasting
- Build comprehensive strategies in collaboration with business leaders and team to drive cash flow optimization and strong financial performance; work closely with these leaders to identify learnings and areas of opportunity or needed improvement
- Work closely and collaboratively with the CEO & Management Team to ensure strong performance towards financial metrics and other related business KPIs
- Translate financial performance, metrics, and progress into clear insights and actionable takeaways through both verbal and visual meeting formats, including in teamwide presentations
- Manage and improve the annual budgeting process with department leads, including revamping the budgeting template and process, in addition to providing ongoing guidance
- Perform variance analysis against plan to validate or shift strategic and tactical priorities, areas of investment, and process changes
- Oversee and review output from accounting operations, including bookkeeping, accounts receivable, billing, tax, audit, etc.
- Deliver regular reporting to the executive team and other key stakeholders
- Opportunity to develop working relationships with external stakeholders, including strategic partners
- Ensure satisfactory workflows and processes to increase automation or efficiency to internal processes, including invoicing and payments

Requirements

- 5-10 years of finance or FP&A experience in a fast-growing startup or SaaS-company, including strategic and tactical experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in an entrepreneurial work environment
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, and adept at prioritization and time management
- Exceptional Excel skills, including robust modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas
- Strong communication skills, including translating business priorities into financial implications
- Experience with software and systems for managing accounting, financial reporting, and billing
- Stellar analytical aptitude and intellectual curiosity to uncover patterns and trends
- Thrives making decisions in fast-paced environments with new developments introduced regularly
- Ability to execute against multiple project deadlines, while managing stakeholder expectations and maintaining a high quality of output
- Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree; preference for business, accounting, economics, etc.
