We are looking for a DevOps Team Leader to lead our DevOps team. An ambitious team player who has deep understanding of operating systems, networking and application security, and can-do approach even when faced with challenging use cases.
In your role as a DevOps Team Lead, you will be required to acquire expertise and guide the implementation of innovative solutions to address specific operational needs. This includes adopting advanced tools for CI/CD, monitoring, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands on management of our DevOps engineering team.
- Manage and work with subcontractors
- Take ownership, design, build, integrate, monitor and maintain on-premise and cloud infrastructure and applications, to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance..
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, develop, and release our products.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate routine tasks to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Secure our infrastructure and services to prevent security breaches and other vulnerabilities
- Establish and maintain capacity and cost control processes
REQUIREMENTS
- +5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer or similar role.
- Deep understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Strong proficiency (3-5 years) in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience (3-5 years) with CI/CD tools (e.g, Jenkins, Git, Absible).
- Experience (3-5 years) of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of network security principles and tools (Security Groups, Network ACLs, VPNs).
- Experience (3-5 years) running Windows/Linux environments and virtualization technologies (like VMWare).
- IDF technological/Cyber unit alumni – big advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
