About the Role
- As an Operations & Research Team Lead, you will be part of a fast-growing operational team responsible for Riskified’s customers’ performance, online fraud-prevention in real time, and quick problem solving. You will be at the forefront of Riskified’s work by researching and investigating new online fraud trends. You’ll lead a group of experienced Research Analysts to solve complex issues in a dynamic environment, while advancing your data mining and analysis skills, as well as mentoring junior researchers.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead a team responsible for research and exploration of data, using high-level analytical tools in a highly technical environment
- Share deep analysis conclusions and sophisticated technical methods in a clear manner with both technical and business audiences
- Work with Account Managers, meet with clients, and deliver analytic insights for business questions
- Define and execute end-to-end technical solutions for fraud-prevention problems
- Provide technical mentoring for team members
- Collaborate with various teams within Riskified to enhance processes and meet customers’ needs
- Master the online fraud-prevention domain through hands-on analysis of live data

Requirements

- Experience in leading, managing, and mentoring a team
- Bachelor's degree - preferably in a highly-quantitative field (i.e. mathematics, statistics, computer science, hard sciences), economics, or business administration
- Hands-on experience with SQL - Must
- Hands-on experience with R / Python - functions creation, data wrangling - Must
- Experience in a client facing role - advantage
- Great communication skills
- Quick thinker
- Strong analytical skills
