Data Analyst - Role Description

Skyline AI is redefining the world’s approach to the $200 trillion commercial real estate industry by building data technology that will transform the market from the low-tech methods it’s been relying on for decades.

Here at Skyline AI our data is our fuel. We are constantly searching for new data sources, analyzing our many different types of data and extracting valuable information from it.

As our data analyst, you will be a critical player in all parts of this cycle:
- Developing a deep, data-driven understanding of the dynamics of commercial real estate and translating it to effective data analysis projects.
- Working cross-functionally with Real Estate, business and R&D team members.
- Hunting the internet for public datasets as well as data vendors to bridge our data gaps.
- Being the “logical owner” of all the data in our database - understanding the sources and quality of all of our data.
- Extracting valuable insights and estimations from our data to support all phases of our Real Estate investments
- Creating dashboards to display ad-hoc data analyses to our in-house Real Estate analysts and to our business partners.

- At least 3 years of industry experience as an analyst or in an analytical role.
- Proficient in SQL. Other programming experience (R, Python, etc.) is an advantage.
- Excellent communications skills, independence, ability to work in an unstructured and fast-paced environment.
- Experience in analyzing big datasets in cloud environments (Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift, AWS Athena) - advantage
- Real Estate / Finance experience - advantage
- Product Management experience - advantage
- Experience using Tableau or equivalent - advantage
