We are looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our growing team. As a Data Analyst, you will turn billions of daily events into critical information, business insights, and graphical dashboards that will help make a meaningful impact on Otonomo’s success. You will work directly with cross-functional teams, and both internal and external customers to understand business needs and better prepare to provide reliable and creative BI solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

- Define efficient and uniform methodologies to allow scale
- Quantitative analysis and data mining
- Analyze data and turn it into meaningful insights
- Identify and interpret trends and patterns in complex data sets using trend technologies
- Improve access and visibility to our data by using visualizations and BI tools
- Work closely with our Product, Support, R&D, Sales, and Marketing teams
- Conduct research and develop tools which will help answer client's’ business questions by using mobility intelligence, raw data sets, and algorithms.
- Create custom reports matching strategic client's business needs.
- Partner with engineering teams to establish the infrastructure and scale solutions.
- Use statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
- Develop and implement data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Design and maintain data systems and databases; including fixing coding errors and other data-related problems.
- Creating appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand every step of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary
- Build dashboards, visualizations, and analysis for internal and external clients


- At least 3 years' experience with SQL for data analysis - Must
- Excellent verbal and communication skills (in English) - Must
- Hadoop/Spark/AWS Infrastructure experience - Big Advantage
- Experience with BI tools like QlikSense - Big Advantage
- Experience in Python scripting - Big Advantage
- Advanced knowledge in statistical tools and methods
