Really well. And now, we’re looking for a new content and research expert to carry the torch further. And (I think you saw this coming), that person may be you. But first...

Freightos is bringing freight online with the world’s largest global freight marketplace. Almost everything we eat, wear or use is shipped or flown by the global freight industry, but its technology is stuck in the ’90s ...and we’re changing that. Beyond helping thousands of top tier companies worldwide, we’ve raised nearly $100 million from investors like GE Ventures, the Singapore Exchange and Aleph, and have gotten the BBC, TechCrunch, and the Wall Street Journal excited in the process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Research and write. Or, more specifically, you’ll design and execute research projects that are actually interesting but, more importantly, generate leads and increase brand awareness. If coming up with research insights is cool, turning those insights into buy-intent leads is freezing.
- Some people think median is just a barrier on a highway. You’re better than that. You get how to analyze data and can consolidate information into reports...and then turn numbers into words by repurposing insights into short-form content (blog posts, LinkedIn posts, newsletters, Laffy Taffy jokes etc.)
- Take the Blue Pill...and you’ll be a freight expert overnight. You’ll need to rapidly turn yourself into a subject matter expert capable of generating weekly insights to an educated audience in the space

PROFILE

- You are a strategic thinker with 2-3 years’ proven experience creating data-centric content, consulting, or in a data storytelling B2B SaaS role. In other words, if data is water and writing is the breaststroke, you’re Michael Phelps (also, hopefully you’re better at analogies than we are).
- You’re passionate about research, writing, and problem solving. Googling (or DuckDuckGo’ing) things isn’t enough. You researching things yourself. Heck, you're on Google Scholar more than you’re on Google Search.
- You have a thorough understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods and can simplify complex concepts (freight) and package them for busy executives who would rather throw back Bloody Mary’s than read freight research any day of the week (can you blame them?)
- You’re a fantastic multitasker who loves to drive new ideas and can bring them to life, deadlines be damned. Like a car in 2027, you work autonomously, Unlike a car in 2027,
- You’re fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Being excited about freight wouldn’t hurt. After all, you’re reading these words on a screen that was shipped from…somewhere.

Requirements

- Native English speaker with outstanding writing skills. Like, you once wrote something that made a rock cry.
- Creative thinker. No need to sit on a rock with your chin in your hands but if that’s what it takes, we’re game.
- Strong analytical skills and a high capacity for conceptual thinking. Super high.
- Familiarity with performing survey data analysis, and interpreting data through a business and economic lens.
- 2-3 years of B2B content experience, data journalism, or research

Preferred Qualifications:
- Actual data experience. SQL or, at the very least, Excel
- Dare we dream….for supply chain experience
