As we continue to experience rapid growth and global expansion, we seek a dynamic and experienced Collections Manager to join our team and lead our collection operations to support our rapid growth and global expansion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing global collections, extensive experience in collections, and a strong background in developing and implementing collections processes and policies. They should be adept at working with cross-functional teams, including legal, revenue operations, accounting, and FP&A, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the accounts receivable process globally, including invoicing, payment processing, and credit management.
- Oversee the collections team, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure effective and efficient collection efforts.
- Analyze customer accounts and aging reports to identify accounts and take appropriate actions to resolve outstanding balances.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers while effectively enforcing payment terms and credit policies.
- Develop and implement collection strategies and processes to optimize cash flow, focusing on achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, finance, customer success, and other teams to address customer issues and improve collections processes.
- Prepare regular reports and analyses on collection performance, trends, and forecasts for senior management.
- Develop, implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure collections team performance.
- Develop accurate and reliable collection forecasts.
- Identify opportunities to automate collections processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in collections in a global Tech company.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) - A Must!
- Proven track record of successfully managing collections operations and achieving KPIs and targets.
- Strong understanding of credit and collections principles, including credit risk assessment, billing processes, and payment terms.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
- Team leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team of collection specialists.
- Experience in collaborating/creating and managing collection forecasts.
- Knowledge of automation tools and process improvement methodologies.
- Advantageous: Experience in a SaaS company, fluency in additional languages (Spanish), and experience working with NetSuite and Salesforce.
- Experience with SaaS billing systems and subscription-based models is highly desirable.
