Cloud Native Team lead

We are looking for an excellent R&D team lead that has great technical and management skills, lives and breathes the cloud-native world, and is well versed in the latest technologies and trends.

Your day-to-day will consist of:

- Working with innovative technologies to build Mend’s next-generation Cloud-Native security platform from scratch
- Participating in future product direction and building the engineering roadmap
- Hiring and mentoring an R&D team of up to 6 backend and frontend developers
- Driving innovation, technical excellence, high product quality, and timely delivery within an agile, production-critical environment
- Spending about 50% of your time on hands-on development

You must have:

- 3+ years experience managing development teams
- 5+ years of hands-on, production-grade backend development experience with Java/C#/Node.JS programming
- Strong understanding of Docker & Kubernetes internals
- Proven architecture/design skills
- Great leadership skills
- High motivation and ambition for excellence

Nice to have:

- Experience with application security
- Experience with CI/CD flows and methodologies
- Experience with Fullstack development
- Experience contributing to open-source projects
